Privacy Policy

We believe in radical transparency about how we handle your data. Simple: we collect almost nothing and share even less.

Last updated: August 15, 2025

The simple version

What We Collect:

- Your email address (for project access)
- The projects you have pledged to or purchased
- Shipping address (only when you buy something)
- That's literally it

What We Don't Do:

- No tracking or analytics
- No marketing emails
- No user accounts
- No cookies

What Information We Collect

We follow a "legal minimum" approach to data collection. We only store what's absolutely necessary for the platform to function:

Email addresses: Used for project access verification and sending order confirmations
Project associations: Which projects you've pledged to or purchased from
Shipping information: Only collected when you actually buy something during a group buy
Payment data: Handled entirely by Stripe - we never see your card details

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used for exactly four purposes - nothing more:

📧 Email Verification

One-time codes to access private projects you've pledged to

🔔 Group Buy Notifications

Private purchase links when projects you pledged to go live

📄 Order Confirmations

Receipt emails when you pledge or purchase something

📦 Shipping

Getting your purchased items to you

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone. Period.

The only exception: when you make a purchase, we pass your email to Stripe (our payment processor) as part of the transaction. This is required for payment processing and receipt generation.

✅

No third-party marketing

We never share your email with marketers, advertisers, or any other companies for promotional purposes.

- 🍪 No Cookies: We don't use tracking cookies or analytics cookies
- 📊 No Analytics: No Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking

- 👤 No User Accounts: No passwords, profiles, or persistent login sessions
